Saving money with MRP !
Clients who sell their home with our Marketing Retainer Plan, save money by paying a lesser fee instead of the traditional seller's (listing) agent commission. MRP fee clients pay the associated retainer fee ($649) up front, and then a a reduced commission when the home sells, at closing.
How Commissions Typically Work
In a typical real estate transaction, there are two agents: a buyer's agent and a seller's (listing) agent. Both agents earn commissions, which are a percentage of the overall home price. Historically, traditional agents have charged a total commission of 6%, with 3% going to the seller's (listing) agent and 3% going to the buyer's agent. A listing commission of 3% would be $7500 on a $250,000 home. With our MRP you can potentially save thousands.
Instead of paying a typical commission, you pay a retainer fee when you sign the listing contract and receive a reduced commission at closing.
As the seller, you should still offer a traditional buyer's agent commission (typically 3%, depending on your market). Paying the traditional buyer's agent commission is important to encourage agents from other brokerages to show your property.
If you sell with our reatainer fee program, and our team sells the property, you will save multiple thousands!
